Our Approach to Continuity of Learning and COVID-19

Suggested Websites for Students

To provide consistency for children, it is a good idea to set daily limits around time spent watching television and playing devices. This makes life easier for parents to control the daily routine and ensures children continue to develop a range of skills in other areas.

For example, 30 minutes to 1 hour of device time in the morning after chores and school work is complete, would be ideal. And perhaps another timeslot in the afternoon when parents require some down time. It is best if children use the internet for constructive purposes, for example they could:

  • research a place they are interested in
  • find out about a hobby they would like to try
  • learn about a career they may like to pursue
  • choose an educational website to continue learning
